Mumbai, Jan 29 (NationPress) Actress Parul Gulati is set to appear in the much-anticipated thriller “Tu Yaa Main”, alongside Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor. She expressed her admiration for filmmaker Anand L Rai, describing his cinematic universe as theatrical, layered, and emotionally rich.
In the film, Parul portrays Laira, who serves as Shanaya's close friend and manager. She was last seen in “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2”, featuring comedian Kapil Sharma, along with Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhury, and Ayesha Khan. Directed by Anukalp Goswami and produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under Venus Worldwide Entertainment in collaboration with Abbas Mustan Film Production, this upcoming movie is slated for release on December 12, 2025.
The first film in this franchise, directed by Abbas–Mustan, debuted on September 25, 2015. “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon?” marked Kapil Sharma’s entry into Bollywood and also featured Arbaaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Simran Kaur Mundi, Elli Avram, Varun Sharma, Supriya Pathak, Sharat Saxena, and Manoj Joshi.
Parul, who has previously starred in P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke, Selection Day, and Girls Hostel, will also join actors Divyendu and Barun Sobti in “Donali”. This series, directed by E Niwas, features Chunky Pandey, Yashpal Sharma, and others, and is set against the rugged backdrop of Chambal during the 1960s, filmed across Madhya Pradesh.
In addition to her acting career, Parul is an entrepreneur and model, having participated in several TV shows and Punjabi films. She is the founder and CEO of a hair extensions brand and made her debut in the TV series Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kum, portraying Bittan, the younger sister of Leher, played by actress Yami Gautam.
