Chennai, Feb 14 (NationPress) The team behind director Nalan Kumarasamy’s forthcoming movie ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’, starring Karthi and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles, has unveiled ‘Uyir Pathikaama’, the film's inaugural single, on Friday.
Composed by Santhosh Narayanan, this track features lyrics penned by Vivek, with vocal performances from Vijay Narain, Aditya Ravindran, and Santhosh Narayanan himself.
This vibrant romantic duet showcases Karthi and Krithi Shetty. Karthi shared the music video link on his X timeline, stating, “Supa groovy song…thank you @Music_Santhosh and team! Hope you guys love it too. Happy Valentine’s Day! #UyirPathikaama from #VaaVaathiyaar.”
In addition to Karthi and Krithi Shetty, the film will feature a talented cast including Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Anand Raj, Shilpa Manjunath, Karunakaran, G M Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, P L Thenappan, Vidhya Borgia, Nivas Adthitan, and Madhur Mittal.
Notably, Karthi portrays a police officer in this film, with Karunakaran as his subordinate. A teaser released by the filmmakers showcased Karthi in a never-before-seen role, depicting him stepping out of a police patrol vehicle to join a group of dancers grooving to a lively beat on the street.
