Los Angeles, March 19 (NationPress) Hollywood star Gal Gadot expressed her joy in portraying the Evil Queen in the musical fantasy 'Snow White', featuring Rachel Zegler.

The 39-year-old actress remarked to variety.com: "It was unlike anything I’ve ever undertaken because I was embodying the villain. She’s incredibly theatrical, grand, and larger than life... It was a delightful role to inhabit."

Gadot, widely recognized for her leading role in the 'Wonder Woman' franchise, thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to immerse herself in a new character.

She elaborated: "That’s the exciting part of our profession. Delving into the character's history, understanding their motivations, what ignites their passions, what they cherish, and what frightens them—this journey is truly captivating when portraying a character. And I relish it."

The actress was previously crowned Miss Israel before achieving fame in Hollywood.

She won the beauty title back in 2004, stating that she didn't take the competition "very seriously" at all, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.

During her appearance on 'Hot Ones', Gadot, who has been married to Jaron Varsano since 2008, recounted: "When I participated in Miss Israel, I initially joined for the experience, thinking I could tell my grandkids that grandma... and then I ended up winning, which was shocking.

"I never intended to win; I joined for fun, and suddenly—it's amusing, you’re 18 and not taking things too seriously. The only part I truly enjoyed was the opening sequence with the dance."
