Mumbai, Feb 25 (NationPress) Following the accidental shooting incident last October, actor Govinda is back in the headlines. Recently, it has been reported that his wife Sunita has initiated separation proceedings and has sent a legal document regarding this issue. However, the actor’s manager asserts that the rumors surrounding Sunita's separation filing are merely attempts to attract public attention.
The manager, Shashi Sinha, spoke with IANS in light of the separation claims and mentioned that no official action has been taken by Govinda.
He stated, “Currently, the news is circulating widely. We are monitoring the situation. Yes, she has submitted a legal notice to the court, of which I am aware. However, there is no substantial matter related to that. The legal notice has not yet reached us.”
The manager also pointed out that Sunita has been engaging in activities that pique public interest concerning Govinda over the last few days.
He added, “You must have noticed that there are frequent updates. Sunita has consistently made remarks about Govinda. She claimed that she taught him acting or dance.”
According to the manager, Govinda primarily resides in his bungalow, while Sunita lives in an apartment; nonetheless, he remains dedicated to attending to Sunita and their family.
“There are ongoing matters, but they are being handled on their own terms. However, it is not as if he is a character in a story. Govinda is a person of unique character. He stands for others and his family,” the manager expressed.
Nonetheless, Shashi declined to characterize the arrangement of Govinda residing in his bungalow while Sunita stays in a flat as them living apart.
“They do not live separately. Govinda primarily resides in his bungalow. Yes, he comes and goes to his apartment. He spends several days in his bungalow due to his political work and involvement with the government. Hence, it is quite normal for him to spend time there,” he concluded.
