Now, with our daughters, our bond has grown even stronger.”

Reflecting on their journey, Gurmeet eloquently expresses, “Looking back at our path—from our Ramayan days to the present—we’ve realized that love is not merely about grand gestures but about being present, understanding, and maturing together.”

He mentioned that the couple is celebrating this milestone with gratitude.

Gurmeet expressed: “This year, we commemorate this milestone with gratitude, celebrating the wonderful life we’ve created, and cherishing our greatest blessing—our daughters. Here’s to 13 years of love, partnership, and a lifetime of togetherness!”

Gurmeet and Debina gained fame after playing Rama and Sita in the 2009 television epic 'Ramayana'. They initially married in 2011 and renewed their vows in 2021. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in April 2022, and their second daughter in November 2022.

Reflecting on Republic Day last month, Gurmeet revealed that his name was given to him by a group of Punjabi army officers.

He remarked: “The army has significantly influenced my life. Few are aware that my name, Gurmeet, was actually assigned to me by my father's Punjabi officer friends, who were part of the Punjab Regiment. Thus, my name embodies the spirit of the army.”
