Mumbai, May 14 (NationPress) Bollywood star Harshvardhan Rane, who is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (Honours), is gearing up to balance his exams with shooting for his upcoming film in June.
Harshvardhan recently shared glimpses of his study regimen on his Instagram stories, where he was seen diligently taking notes during his lectures.
In his post, he mentioned: “#Psychology #Honours exam in June, shoot bhi in June” accompanied by a facepalm emoji.
The actor will appear next in the film tentatively titled Deewaniyat, directed by Milap Zaveri, alongside actress Sonam Bajwa.
Additionally, on May 13, Harshvardhan posted about his film Sanam Teri Kasam, notably without his Pakistani co-star Mawra Hocane. His post read, “Removed from the film that made her Mawra Hocane Erased by the nation she forgot to respect.”
He captioned it: “...National Weeding.”
On May 12, he addressed Mawra’s provocative comments amidst rising tensions between India and Pakistan. Harshvardhan and Mawra had a contentious exchange on social media regarding their love for their respective nations.
On Sunday, he provided a thoughtful rebuttal to Mawra’s remarks aimed squarely at him.
Mawra stated, “Someone I expected to have basic common sense has risen from deep slumber with a PR strategy. While our nations are at war, this is what you come up with? A PR statement to get attention? What a pity.”
In his reply, Harshvardhan responded calmly but firmly. He expressed on Instagram, “That sounded like an attempt at personal attack. Fortunately, I have tolerance to overlook such attempts - but have zero tolerance for any attack on my nation's dignity. An Indian farmer would pluck out the unwanted weed from his crop, it's called WEEDING; the farmer doesn't need a PR team for this act, it’s called common sense (sic).”
He further asserted that he did not intend to offend the actress and that he was fully entitled to reject a project he feels uncomfortable with under certain circumstances.
