Madonna Sebastian, Sananth, and debutante Emaya T are set to light up screens in the romantic comedy 'Heartin', which production house Trident Arts has confirmed will release worldwide on 26 June. Directed by Kishore Kumar and scored by composer Rajesh Murugesan, the film promises a youthful, feel-good blend of romance and humour.

Release Date Confirmed After Earlier Delay

Trident Arts made the announcement on its official X account, stating: '#Heartin hits theatres worldwide on JUNE 26th. Written & Directed by @kishoredir. A @RajeshMRadio Musical.' The film had originally been slated for a February 2026 release, when the makers had described it as a package of 'Love, Laughter & Family Moments.' The revised date marks a delay of several months from that initial window.

Notably, as far back as December last year, Madonna Sebastian had completed dubbing for her portions — suggesting post-production had been largely wrapped up well before the new release date was finalised.

Cast and What to Expect

Sananth, recognised for his work in Tamil films 'Mahaan', 'Petta', and 'Jil Jung Juk', leads the male cast. Madonna Sebastian — a familiar face across Tamil and Malayalam cinema — and debutant Emaya T play pivotal roles. According to sources, several other established actors also appear in key characters, though names have not been officially disclosed.

Director Kishore Kumar has described the film as 'a rom-com with an interesting balance of romance and humour,' adding that it is 'a film that will appeal to audiences of all kinds.' Shooting took place across Chennai, Jaipur, and Ooty, with the director previously noting that the schedule was approximately 80 per cent complete at the time of that disclosure.

Technical Crew Behind the Film

Cinematography is handled by Mukes, known for the web series 'Suzhal' and the film 'Kolaikaaran'. Music composer Rajesh Murugesan — the talent behind Malayalam hits 'Neram', 'Premam', and 'Gold' — provides the soundtrack, making his presence one of the more anticipated technical draws of the project.

Editing is by Barath Vikraman ('Good Night', 'Lover'), art direction by G. Durairaj ('Garudan', 'Ayothi'), and costume design by Uthara Menon, who has worked on 'Viduthalai 2' and 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu'. The crew brings considerable credibility across both Tamil and Malayalam industries.
