Hrithik Roshan Selected Melodies for His Uncle Rajesh Roshan at Age 12
Mumbai, Jan 10 (NationPress) Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan, who recently celebrated his 51st birthday, shared that at the age of 12, he would sometimes select melodies for his uncle, music composer Rajesh Roshan, and occasionally saw his choices on screen.

Mumbai, Jan 10 (NationPress) Bollywood sensation Hrithik Roshan, who celebrated his 51st birthday on Friday, disclosed that when he was just 12 years old, he occasionally picked tunes for his uncle, music composer Rajesh Roshan. He even experienced the thrill of seeing his selections appear on screen.

“I was 12 years old, and for every song my chacha created, he would summon me… Duggu ko bulao. I would sit with him as he played three melodies and asked me to make a choice; often, I would witness my choice on the screen. It was an incredible feeling,” Hrithik revealed during a press conference for their upcoming Netflix documentary, “The Roshans”.

Rajesh shared a story about Hrithik, whom he described as a very quick learner.

“He would visit the music room to listen to the songs. Some had complex Urdu and Hindi lyrics, but he would ask politely, ‘chacha, iska kya matlab hota hai’ (what does this mean)... showcasing his thirst for knowledge,” Rajesh noted.

The soon-to-be-released Netflix series narrates the challenges and victories of Bollywood’s legendary Roshan family — including musician Roshan Lal Nagrath, Rajesh, Rakesh, and Hrithik.

Regarding Hrithik, one of India's highest-paid actors, he made brief appearances as a child actor in various films during the 1980s and worked as an assistant director on four of his father’s projects.

His breakthrough leading role came in the blockbuster Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai in 2000. He later appeared in films like “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…”, “Koi… Mil Gaya”, “Krrish”, “Dhoom 2”, “Jodhaa Akbar”, “Guzaarish”, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara”, “Agneepath”, “Super 30”, “Bang Bang!”, “War”, and Fighter.

He is set to appear next in “War 2”, alongside NTR Jr. and Kiara Advani.
