Chennai, May 8 (NationPress) Actor Vishnu Manchu, the lead in director Mukesh Kumar Singh's eagerly awaited magnum opus 'Kannappa', has revealed that he trained in martial arts and worked as a stuntman in Los Angeles before venturing into acting.

In an Instagram post, he shared a video showcasing his involvement in choreographing various action sequences for the period film 'Kannappa'. Vishnu wrote, "Many might not be aware that before stepping into acting, I honed my skills in martial arts and worked as a stuntman in Los Angeles. Upon returning to India, I carried that passion with me, becoming a proud member of the Telugu Stunt Union, and I have choreographed fight sequences since my early cinema days."

He continued, "As the showrunner of Kannappa, I had the chance to craft many of the film's action sequences myself. I am thankful to the talented stunt choreographer Kecha for bringing my visions to life. Here’s a sneak peek into some intense, high-octane moments. Har Har Mahadev... Experience the epic on the big screen—Kannappa premieres on June 27."

Set to release globally on June 27, Kannappa has generated significant buzz among fans and cinephiles alike.

In the film, Vishnu Manchu portrays Thinnadu, a courageous warrior who becomes a devoted follower of Lord Shiva.

Akshay Kumar takes on the role of Lord Shiva, while Mohanlal captivates as Kirata. Prabhas promises an unforgettable cinematic experience as Rudra.

A teaser released by the team also showcases clips featuring Kajal Aggarwal and Preity Mukhundhan, further enhancing the film's stellar cast.
