Chennai, Oct 21 (NationPress) The illustrious music maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, who has made history as the first Indian to showcase a western classical symphony, has announced his plans to commence writing his next symphony.
Recently performing in Dubai, Ilaiyaraaja expressed his gratitude to fans via his X timeline, stating, "I am deeply thankful for the love, warmth, and energy from everyone who participated in the Valiant performance at Dubai Opera. Your appreciation and emotions truly made the evening memorable... Thank you, Dubai!"
In an engaging video shared on his X timeline, the celebrated artist revealed that he would start working on his upcoming symphony after commemorating his mother's death anniversary.
He added, "Wishing everyone a joyous Deepavali. On this delightful occasion, I have more news to share. I plan to initiate my next symphony following my mother's death anniversary. Additionally, I will be crafting a new piece titled Symphonic Dancers."
For those who may not know, Ilaiyaraaja achieved a significant milestone on March 8 this year by presenting his inaugural western classical symphony at the Eventim Apollo theatre in London.
The performance was further elevated by the presence of the esteemed Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, which joined Ilaiyaraaja for this momentous event.
Upon returning to India, Ilaiyaraaja mentioned that his symphony, named ‘Valiant’, would be showcased globally, and he has already confirmed dates for events in 13 countries.
