Mumbai, Feb 13 (NationPress) Ishaan Khatter, filled with pride, took to social media to express his admiration for his brother Shahid Kapoor after experiencing his latest film, O’Romeo.
Ishaan revealed that Shahid exemplifies his core principle as an actor - “to burn inside, with an outer ease”.
Celebrating Shahid’s performance as Ustaraa in Vishal Bhardwaj’s directorial, he commented on the photo-sharing platform, “So immensely proud of you bhai. The golden words for me as an actor - ‘to burn inside, with an outer ease’.
You embody that principle with such flair. You deserve the skies and the best roles as an actor. Transforming a character like Ustaraa into a believable graphic novel hero showcases the talent of a true star (sic).
The VB-SK connection is undeniable. Experience the rock concert vibe in theatres by watching O’Romeo. It’s an absolute dhamaka,” Ishaan added.
Previously, Shahid's wife, Mira Rajput, also supported O’Romeo, referring to her husband as a “destiny’s child”.
Praising Shahid’s unwavering spirit and extraordinary talent, Mira posted on her IG, “My ROMEO...When he asks ‘main hoon ki hoon nahi?’, remember, Tum Ho. Aur ho vahi. The one who is relentless, possesses incredible talent, has eyes that convey a thousand stories, and a heart that always mends. Because what holds you is the light. Destiny’s child. It’s time to shine. Spectacular is an understatement. I am so proud of you. O’ROMEO now in Theatres!”
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, O’Romeo is inspired by Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.
Featuring Triptii Dimri as the lead, the film also includes Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Tamannaah Bhatia in significant roles.
