Ishwak Singh Shares Insights on the Acclaimed Success of ‘Berlin’

Mumbai, December 21 (NationPress) Actor Ishwak Singh, recognized for his roles in ‘Rocket Boys’ and ‘Paatal Lok’, has opened up about the remarkable success of his film ‘Berlin’, where he portrays a mute character.
The movie has received widespread praise for its profound and masterful storytelling, establishing it as a notable success both in India and internationally.
2024 has proven to be a transformative year for the actor, who has reached new heights with ‘Berlin’. He describes it as “a very special film”.
He remarked, “It has been crafted with immense sensitivity, awareness, and expertise. Atul Sabharwal is an exceptional writer and director, and collaborating with him was incredibly fulfilling. He had the courage to write a complex film featuring a challenging character, and I’m thrilled that we succeeded in bringing it to life. I went all out to perfect my performance.”
Discussing his preparation for the role, he shared, “I dedicated myself to learning sign language, engaging with individuals from the community, and trusting the roadmap that Atul designed.”
The film also features Aparshakti Khurana, Rahul Bose, and Anupriya Goenka, set against the backdrop of 1990s New Delhi, and unfolds as an espionage drama. It was recently showcased at the ongoing Indian Film Festival of Melbourne at Hoyts Cinema.
The narrative follows three primary characters whose paths are destined to intertwine in unforeseen manners. Ishwak Singh takes on the role of a deaf-mute young man wrongfully accused of being a foreign spy. Aparshakti Khurana plays a sign language expert tasked with unraveling the secrets concealed in silence. The film is directed by Atul Sabharwal.
Previously, during the announcement of the film’s OTT release, Atul Sabharwal commented on the chemistry between Aparshakti and Ishwak.
