Mumbai, July 19 (NationPress) The legendary Bollywood icon Jackie Shroff has opened up about his experience of performing at the age of 68, revealing that he has indeed become tougher over the years, as his mind feels as youthful as 19, and his body continues to feel vibrant.
Jackie attended the launch event of the trailer for his upcoming action-filled series, ‘Hunter 2: Tootega Nahi, Todega’. During this event, he shared insights regarding his action performances.
Reflecting on injuries he has faced, the seasoned star stated: “I have experienced fractures in my hand and leg, and have endured several impacts. But, by God’s grace, I have become tougher. My mind feels like I’m 19, and my body remains youthful.”
He reminisced about an incident where Suniel Shetty was struck in the ribs with a genuine piece of wood.
“I too have dealt with an ankle injury, and the muscle in my left arm is torn. However, this is all part of the journey. Action keeps your bones and body healthy,” Jackie remarked.
The actor expressed that everyone has become “so engrossed in our phones that our bones have stiffened.”
Jackie emphasized: “It is critical to maintain our health and care for those around us, including our parents and loved ones. While I performed limited action in this series, Sunil Anna has taken on even more.”
In addition to Jackie and Suniel, Hunter 2 features Anusha Dandekar, Barkha Bisht, Anang Desai, Pramod Pathak, and Mazel Vyas.
Directed by Prince Dhiman and Alok Batra, Hunter 2 will be available for streaming starting July 24 on Amazon MX Player.
Jackie’s latest film release is Tanvi The Great, directed by Anupam Kher. This film tells the story of a 21-year-old named Tanvi, who is on the autism spectrum and lives with her mother, Vidya, and grandfather, Colonel Pratap Raina.
Inspired by her late father, Captain Samar Raina, an Indian Army officer with aspirations of saluting the flag at Siachen Glacier, Tanvi is determined to pursue his dream and join the army herself.
