Mumbai, April 3 (NationPress) Singer Jasmine Sandlas is currently celebrating the success of her latest project, “Dhurandhar”. Reflecting on her career, she took a nostalgic journey back to 2012 when she performed at a modest club in Delhi, a stark contrast to the arenas and stadiums she headlines today.

On Instagram, Jasmine shared a vintage photo of herself on stage. Recalling that she once sang for a mere 15 attendees, she pointed out that her enthusiasm and fervor have remained constant. She stressed that success does not change a person but rather magnifies their true self.

“This image is from 2012 when I performed at a small club in Delhi. There were just 15 people in the audience. I delivered my performance then just as I do now in large arenas and stadiums. Fame and power do not alter anyone; they enhance who you already are,” she captioned the post.

Sandlas expressed gratitude towards her fans who have been sharing nostalgic images and videos, highlighting the less glamorous beginnings of her career. She thanked them for being witnesses to her remarkable journey over the years.

“My fans have been sending me images and clips from my past, and it fills me with so much joy. Thank you for being part of my journey during the less glamorous times.”

Describing her journey as “beautiful,” the singer shared that she wholeheartedly dedicated herself to her aspirations, which ultimately shaped her present.

“Thank you for reminding me how beautiful it has all been up to this point. I have burned with my desires and now I shine brightly like a star.”

Reflecting on her evolution, she noted that letting go of her old life was crucial to welcoming a new one, marking it as a significant chapter in her life.

Jasmine concluded: “I sacrificed my old life for my new one. This is it.”

Regarding “Dhurandhar”, it is the first part of a duology set to release in 2025. The film revolves around a high-stakes covert counter-terrorism operation. It depicts an undercover Indian intelligence agent who infiltrates Karachi's criminal networks and political systems in Pakistan to dismantle a terror organization targeting India.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge was recently launched, continuing the story of the undercover agent as he navigates Karachi's crime and politics while avenging the 26/11 attacks and tackling larger threats.

The film's narrative loosely draws inspiration from various real-life geopolitical events and crises in South Asia, including Operation Lyari, the 2014 Indian general elections, the 2016 Indian banknote demonetization, and several other significant occurrences.
