Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Aug 29 (NationPress) 'Jatadhara' producer Prerna Arora shared insights regarding the comparisons with Hollywood VFX. She emphasized that the film's unique selling proposition revolves around its emotion and storytelling.
In an exclusive conversation with IANS, when asked about the challenge of VFX in Jatadhara amidst rising comparisons with global cinema, she responded that as a producer and creative individual, she views VFX as a mechanism that transforms imagination and narratives into reality.
“While Hollywood showcases some incredible VFX achievements, it's important to recognize their vastly superior budgets compared to Indian films. Nevertheless, Indian cinema has recently begun to produce impressive VFX when approached with care and detail. This not only amplifies storytelling but also positions Indian cinema to compete on an international level,” she explained.
On discussing Jatadhara, Prerna remarked, “The heart of Jatadhara lies in its emotional depth and narrative. This, I believe, is its strongest asset. If we can genuinely resonate with the audience, that’s where we find success in cinema. Of course, the film will also offer stunning visual support through its VFX, which viewers will experience soon.”
