Los Angeles, Dec 29 (NationPress) Hollywood star Jennifer Garner has hopped onto the “Felt Pretty” trend with her own amusing spin. The actress shared a video on Instagram on Sunday (Pacific Standard Time), as reported by People magazine.
The clip kicks off showcasing the 53-year-old actress looking stunning in a sleeveless black dress, adorned with sparkling earrings, full makeup, and a flawless blowout.
Initially, it seems to be a typical rendition of the “Felt Pretty” trend, where social media users post images of themselves feeling confident or attractive. However, Garner cleverly turned expectations on their head, stating, “Felt pretty but then I opened my friend’s camera roll.”
The video then transitions into a montage of the actress in various silly and relaxed poses, such as snoozing on a couch, munching on chips, and a nostalgic high school throwback.
“Oh, well,” she captioned the post while giving a shoutout to her hair stylist Clariss Anya Rubenstein. The images also highlighted how Garner and her eldest daughter, Violet Affleck, 20, whom she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck, are increasingly resembling each other.
In July, both were spotted in Los Angeles wearing nearly identical outfits. In 2022, they attended a formal event at the White House, both donning elegant black gowns.
In an interview with PEOPLE in 2024, Garner discussed parenting Violet along with her other two children, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, as they transition into adulthood.
She expressed, “They’re really solid right now. I’m just watching them in this new phase of life where they’re figuring out who they’re going to be and what they’re going to study. And I’m so interested in them. All the time, I’m interested in everything about them.”
When asked about the challenges of allowing her children to make their own choices, Garner confessed it’s “so hard.” “I mean, my parents did too, and I’m so amazed by that. I have a hard time not saying, 'This is what I see you as,' and 'I think you should. I really have to sit on my hands,” she added.
