Mumbai, March 4 (NationPress) Following an impressive 2024, which saw blockbuster successes like "Article 370", "Laapataa Ladies", "Shaitaan", "Stree 2", and "Singham Again", Jio Studios is poised to maintain its momentum into 2025.

The year commenced with the successful debut of "Sky Force", and now, Jio Studios is preparing to unveil eight new OTT titles.

Leading the charge is Sanya Malhotra's highly praised "Mrs.".

This film, a reimagining of the Malayalam movie "The Great Indian Kitchen", explores the journey of a newlywed woman confronting outdated patriarchal norms. It stars Nishant Dahiya and Kanwaljit Singh in pivotal roles, igniting significant discussions online about the entrenched patriarchal attitudes in society.

"Mrs." made its debut at the 2024 Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and was also featured at the New York Indian Film Festival. The film was released on ZEE5 on February 7, 2025.

Next in line is the must-watch Netflix series "Dhoom Dhaam", starring Yami Gautam and Pratik Gandhi, telling the story of an ill-matched couple embarking on an unexpected journey on their wedding night.

Additionally, they are set to present "The Storyteller", a brilliant homage to Satyajit Ray’s influence. Based on Ray's short story "Golpo Boliye Tarini Khuro", the film dives into the themes of originality versus imitation.

Directed by Ananth Mahadevan, "The Storyteller" features stellar performances from Paresh Rawal, Adil Hussain, and Revathi.

The lineup also includes "Kaushaljis vs Kaushal", a touching narrative about second chances in romance, directed by Seema Desai and starring Ashutosh Rana, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar.

Moreover, Jio Studios' exciting slate comprises titles like "Hisaab Barabar", "Bobby Rishi ki Love Story", "Sweet Dreams", and "Dil Dosti Dogs".

These films are not only topping popularity charts but also leading Ormax reports. With over eight titles launched and more on the horizon, the studio has reaffirmed its commitment to connecting with a diverse audience.
