In a conversation with IANS prior to the film's premiere in Vile Parle, Mumbai, Jitesh explained that her role embodies a divine mother, making her the first choice for the filmmakers.
He remarked to IANS, “She embodies a guiding force; the character I’m referring to is truly that. When the initial idea emerged, I envisioned her as a divine mother. Despite her character’s name being Devi, which means goddess, she resides in Switzerland.
