Mumbai, Jan 19 (NationPress) Actor Ali Fazal, who recently appeared in ‘Metro... In Dino’, has embraced the social media trend of sharing throwback pictures from 2016.
On Monday, he posted a series of images on his Instagram that included the renowned English actress Judi Dench, along with his wife Richa Chadha. He also shared behind-the-scenes snaps from the film ‘Victoria and Abdul’.
In the caption, he expressed, “Alright, here it is.. my highlights from 2016. It’s been a memorable journey since then! Hehe, the year we filmed the unforgettable Victoria and Abdul. The first two images capture Judi and me having fun after our photo ops. The next one is with Stephen Frears in Agra, all grown up, filming the culmination of our movie. Following that are snapshots with Richa, Olivia Williams, and the legendary Michael Gambon.”
Recently, Ali was warmly welcomed back by his daughter Zuneyra after being away for almost a month. The clip he shared on Instagram shows him with his face painted by her fabric colors.
He shared that his daughter enjoys painting furniture and decided to extend her creativity to her father. Reflecting on this moment, Ali wrote, “This is how my daughter welcomed me after a month away. I got her fabric colors because she loves painting furniture, and now she’s trying them out on me! I guess this is my war paint for the years ahead (sic).”
He added, “Looking back, I notice your presence flickering in and out. I raise you more love and resilience. Times are changing, and we adapt. I’m beginning to see everything on the same level now—the past and future are merging here. While I’m not fond of the Gregorian calendar, I’ll embrace this moment because we all need to reflect and look forward (sic).”
On the professional front, Ali is set to reprise his beloved role as Guddu Bhaiya in the movie adaptation of the popular ‘Mirzapur’ series.
