Los Angeles, March 17 (NationPress) Singer-songwriter Justin Bieber appears to be feeling overwhelmed by various developments in his life, whether personal or professional, that remain unaddressed.
The artist reflected on his emotions, sharing a lengthy, all-caps message on Instagram where he confessed he feels like he is "drowning" and expressed the need to "let hate go", as reported by People magazine.
He mentioned, "I was always told when I was a kid not to hate. But it made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to have it, and so I didn’t tell anyone I’ve had it."
According to People, the musician then stated that concealing his hatred made him feel like he has been "drowning" as he felt "unsafe to acknowledge it".
"I think we can only let hate go by first acknowledging it’s there. How couldn’t we feel hate from all of the hurt we have experienced?" he concluded his thought-provoking post.
Last week, the ‘Stay’ singer also utilized his Instagram Stories to express moments of self-doubt.
Justin previously shared, "People told me my whole life, 'wow Justin you deserve that' and I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud. When people told me I deserve something, it made me feel sneaky like, 'Damn if only they knew my thoughts.'"
He also expressed that he often feels "unequipped and unqualified most days".
Meanwhile, on March 8, Bieber posted another ambiguous message about having "nothing to prove", potentially addressing fans’ increasing worries regarding his health.
The two-time Grammy winner stated, "We have nothing to prove today, just the gift of life today to accept and (receive). Nothing is owed to us and we (don’t) owe anyone anything." He paired his reflections with Stevie Wonder’s 1976 hit 'Sir Duke'.
