Los Angeles, March 23 (NationPress) Singer-songwriter Justin Bieber is highlighting the significance of embracing his true self, expressing discomfort when he alters his behavior to “appease others”.
The 31-year-old Grammy Award winner posted a video on Instagram of himself leaning over a keyboard, playing alongside a group of musicians, according to ‘People’ magazine.
He appeared lively and cheerful. “I believe I sometimes dislike myself when I notice myself becoming inauthentic”, he mentioned in the caption, further adding, “Then I recall that we are all conditioned to think we are insufficient, yet I still detest changing myself to satisfy others”.
According to ‘People’, earlier in the day, the “Believe” singer shared another personal insight on social media, indicating his desire to address his “anger issues”.
“I also struggle with anger issues, but I aspire to evolve and not react excessively smh (sic)”, he stated. This message was paired with three images: one of him partially hidden by a hoodie, another from his childhood, and a final image of his son, Jack Blues, born in August 2024.
This isn’t the first instance where Justin has discussed his aspiration for self-improvement recently. In a message dated March 13, he wrote, “People have told me my entire life 'wow Justin, you deserve that' and I've always felt unworthy. Like I was an impostor; when people said I deserved something, it made me feel guilty, like, damn if only they knew my thoughts”.
“How critical I am, how selfish I truly am, they wouldn’t be making those statements”, he continued. “I share this to say, if you feel guilty, welcome to the club. I often feel ill-equipped and unqualified”.
