Mumbai, June 4 (NationPress) Actress Kajol, who will soon appear in the much-anticipated film “Maa”, clarified to actor R. Madhavan that she does not consider herself a “big prankster”; rather, that title belongs to her husband, actor and filmmaker Ajay Devgn.

On Wednesday, the film's production team released a video on YouTube featuring a dialogue between Kajol and Madhavan, discussing the film, which is set to premiere on June 27.

In the clip, Madhavan remarked, “Everyone knows that you're a big prankster.”

To this, Kajol humorously responded, “No, you're mistaking me for Ajay Devgn. Not at all.”

Madhavan then inquired whether she maintains a serious demeanor on set, to which Kajol affirmed that she is “very serious on set”, but added with a laugh that she is also “kind and humble on set.”

He pressed further, asking if she ever intimidates directors by being overly prepared. Kajol replied, “Never would I do that to myself. I never do it to myself. If you want to scare the director, there are many other things to scare him. But, no.”

Turning the question back to Madhavan, she quipped, “You are also a very, very prepared actor, as we know. I mean, you've brought a box of ladoos early in the morning to scare the director on set.”

Madhavan responded, “Nobody has touched it, I know. I want to tell you that. I've to change my strategy right now, right? I'll have to change the ladoos. I'll bring barfi next time. But...improvisations are necessary sometimes.”

When asked if he disregards the script, Madhavan explained, “The lines are written, but we'll do whatever needs to be done......”

Kajol asked, “And you don't interfere?”

Madhavan replied, “I mean, I fight a lot before reaching the set… With the director and everything. Whatever arguments, whatever takes place.”

Kajol then asked, “So, you've decided that you're going to fight with everybody before…”

He confirmed, “Yes, before and for the sake of the film. But, on the set, I've learned from Ajay sir and everybody... ...that you have to have only one director. So, put your argument vehemently. Then, I'll do whatever he says.”

The film “Maa”, directed by Vishal Furia, known for “Chhorii” and “Chorii 2”, is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. The movie also features actors Indraneil Sengupta, Ronit Roy, and Jitin Gulati. The storyline revolves around a mother who goes to great lengths to safeguard her daughter from evil forces. Further details about the film remain undisclosed.
