Mumbai, July 2 (NationPress) Bollywood star Kajol recently shared insights into her collaborative relationship with her husband Ajay Devgn, emphasizing that they have never experienced significant disputes regarding their film projects. In an exclusive interview with IANS, she discussed their professional rapport, underscoring the mutual respect and understanding they maintain, both in their personal lives and on set.
Kajol mentioned that she refrains from involving herself in Ajay’s financial decisions, confident that he has competent advisors guiding him in that area. “Financially, I believe he has a strong team advising him on what actions to take. Therefore, I do not meddle in that aspect. Regarding the film 'Maa', we indeed had extensive discussions. We needed to shoot a segment of the climax for VFX and action reasons, but we are largely aligned and have not had any significant disagreements about the movie,” she stated.
Reflecting on Ajay Devgn’s role as a producer, the ‘Dilwale’ actress remarked, “He is a fantastic producer. He is very hands-on, from script development to VFX and music. He ensures everything is cohesive, including marketing. He is dedicated to delivering quality films.”
“As a producer, he is committed to creating great films. He strives to ensure his company releases a product he can proudly claim as his own—something he can stand behind without embarrassment. This is commendable for him both as a man and as a producer. It can be tempting to produce subpar work for economic gain, but he has never allowed that to influence his productions. Kudos to him for that,” she added.
Kajol’s recent film, “Maa,” was produced by Ajay Devgn under the banner of Ajay Devgn FFilms, in collaboration with Jyoti Deshpande and Gigo Studios. This mythological horror film premiered in theaters on June 27.
