Mumbai, Oct 13 (NationPress) Renowned actor Kamal Haasan shared a touching message for his younger daughter Akshara Haasan as she celebrated her 34th birthday on Sunday.

The 'Indian' actor took to social media to convey his love and appreciation for his daughter.

Recalling the moment he first saw Akshara as a newborn, Haasan remarked, “I did not see your eyes first. You were asleep. I looked into your mother's green eyes and thanked her for the wonderful gift — you. Your mother told me you had her eyes. Upon later inspection, I noticed a hint of my brown was also present. These are simple resemblances that parents affectionately claim. Let them be. (sic)”

Praising the individual Akshara has become, the 'Vikram' actor noted, “You have transformed into a wonderful person, both in appearance and thought.”

Haasan further encouraged his daughter to safeguard the child within her, expressing that this child is also his.

“I’m pleased to see you have preserved that child within you. That child belongs to me as well. Take good care of her,” Haasan concluded his heartfelt note, signing it affectionately, “Forever Yours, Bapu.”

On the work front, Haasan was recently featured in Mani Ratnam’s 'Thug Life'.

Released on June 5, 'Thug Life' received mixed to negative reviews from critics, although Hassan and Silambarasan's performances were praised.

While the veteran actor has yet to announce his next project, reports indicate that director Lokesh Kanakaraj is developing a film featuring both Haasan and superstar Rajinikanth. If sources are to be trusted, this drama may be produced under Haasan's own banner, Raaj Kamal Films International. However, no official confirmation has been provided yet.
