Chennai, Mar 29 (NationPress) Actor Vishnu Manchu, who takes on the lead role in director Mukesh Kumar Singh’s highly anticipated film ‘Kannappa’, revealed on Saturday that the film's release will experience a slight delay. This postponement is due to the need for additional time to refine a crucial scene that involves extensive VFX work.
In a message shared on his X profile, Vishnu stated, “Dear fans, well-wishers, and cinema enthusiasts, Bringing #Kannappa to life has been a remarkable journey, and we are dedicated to delivering a cinematic marvel that adheres to the highest standards. To achieve this, we need a few more weeks to perfect a key episode requiring extensive VFX work. Consequently, the film's release will be pushed back slightly.”
The film was initially scheduled to hit theaters on April 25, 2025.
Vishnu expressed his regrets about the delay, stating, “We truly apologize for the wait and recognize the excitement surrounding this film. Your patience and support mean everything to us.
