Mumbai, May 3 (NationPress) The mother of Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor, Nirmal Kapoor, was laid to rest on Saturday. Her final rites were conducted at the Vile Parle Crematorium, Pawan Hans in Mumbai.
Apart from the Kapoor family, numerous members from the film industry, including Karan Johar, Rani Mukerji, Ananya Panday, Anupam Kher, Arbaaz Khan, and Fardeen Khan, attended the funeral to pay their respects.
Moreover, Farhan Akhtar, along with his wife Shibani Dandekar and sister Zoya Akhtar, Vicky Kaushal's father Shyam Kaushal, and the widow of late Shammi Kapoor, Neila Devi, were present to support the Kapoor family during this difficult period.
Janhvi Kapoor's rumored partner Shikhar Pahariya was also spotted as a strong source of support for the Kapoor family.
Meanwhile, Khushi, Sonam, Harsh Varrdhan, Shanaya, and Arjun were visibly emotional following the loss of their grandmother.

Nirmal passed away on May 2 at the age of 90 at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, Mumbai. Reports indicate she had been hospitalized frequently due to age-related health concerns.
Dr. Santosh Shetty, CEO and Executive Director of Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, confirmed that Nirmal passed away peacefully at the hospital around 5:25 PM on Friday.
