Mumbai, Dec 27 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, recognized for her recent appearance in the Vijay Sethupathi film ‘Merry Christmas’, extended her birthday greetings to the illustrious Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
On Friday, the actress utilized the Stories feature on her Instagram account, sharing a striking monochrome image of Salman.
She captioned the photo, “Happiest Birthday @beingsalmankhan May all the wonderful things of life be with you this year and always.”
Katrina and Salman were once in a romantic relationship before they decided to part ways. In 2021, Katrina married fellow Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal in a beautiful ceremony held at the Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel in Rajasthan.
Currently, the actress appears to be enjoying a break from acting. Since her marriage, she has only featured in three films: ‘Phone Bhoot’, ‘Tiger 3’, where she reunited with Salman Khan, and ‘Merry Christmas’.
While Katrina is savoring her time off, her husband, Vicky Kaushal, continues to ascend the ladder of fame. Over a span of nine years, he has engaged in a wide range of projects, with his latest being ‘Bad Newz’, where he shared the screen with Bollywood stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk.
Vicky's upcoming project, 'Chhaava', was initially set to compete with the Allu Arjun film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at the box office, but the production team opted to delay its release.
'Chhava', directed by Laxman Utekar, tells the story of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary Indian warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film features Rashmika Mandanna as Yeshubai Bhosle, Sambhaji's wife, alongside Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in supporting roles.
The first look of 'Chhava' was revealed alongside the Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor film ‘Stree 2’, showcasing Vicky in an action-packed scene where he battles foes while trying to protect the fort.
Additionally, Vicky is set to collaborate with renowned director Sanjay Leela Bhansali on an upcoming project titled ‘Love and War’.
