Chennai, Jan 13 (NationPress) The roster of film industry figures lauding actor Ajith Kumar for his team's impressive third place finish at the 24H Dubai 2025 car racing competition is steadily increasing, with actor Kavin being the most recent to acknowledge Ajith's exceptional accomplishment.

Ajith's team, Ajith Kumar Racing, owned by the actor himself, clinched the third position in the 991 category race, while Ajith was awarded the Spirit of the Race.

Actor Kavin expressed, "In response is your destiny!

Much respect.. Much love Ajith sir #AjithKumar "

On Sunday, Ajith's team made the nation proud by finishing third in the fiercely competitive car race event. Following the victory, Ajith Kumar Racing tweeted, "Double whammy for Ajith Kumar - third place in the 991 category and Spirit of the race in the gt4 category. What a remarkable comeback after a crash caused by a brake failure."

The triumph thrilled not only the Tamil and Telugu film industries but also the entire country.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan was among the first to extend his congratulations to Ajith. He wrote, "Big congratulations to you, AK sir, for your perseverance. Proud moment, sir," and shared a photograph of Ajith holding high the National flag on the podium.

Kamal Haasan, in his message on X, remarked, "Extraordinary achievement by Team #AjithKumarRacing in their maiden race! Thrilled for my friend Ajith, who continues to push boundaries in his diverse passions. A proud and seminal moment for Indian motorsports."

It wasn't just celebrities from the Tamil film industry who reached out to congratulate Ajith; professionals from the Telugu film industry also joined in, with Naga Chaitanya being the first Telugu actor to commend Ajith.

Naga shared on his X timeline, "Ajith sir!! What a journey what a win ! ... A big cheers and congratulations for making us proud. #AjithKumarRacing #24HDubai2025"

Ajith Kumar has declared that he won’t be taking on any film projects until the racing season concludes, stating that he plans to work on a film between October and March, prior to the onset of the racing season.

It's worth noting that Ajith participated in the race undeterred by a car crash that severely damaged his vehicle during a practice session on Tuesday.

The actor, who practiced driver change drills on Wednesday, then concentrated on fine-tuning strategies and enhancing overall efficiency during practice at the pit stop.

For those unfamiliar, Ajith wasn't just racing; he is also the owner of Ajith Kumar Racing. His team competed in the fiercely contested 991 class. Ajith’s fellow team members included Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod.

The 24H Dubai 2025 victory is significant for Ajith Kumar, as it marks his team's competitive debut in the world of racing. This will also initiate an intense endurance campaign for the team and his firm, which has partnered with Bas Koeten Racing for technical and logistical support.
