Mumbai, June 19 (NationPress) The team behind the Telugu film “Uppu Kappurambu” released its trailer on Thursday, and lead actress Keerthy Suresh shared that the film's distinctive fusion of satire and emotion captivated her interest.
“What attracted me to Uppu Kappurambu was its unique mix of satire and heart,” Keerthy expressed.
Regarding her role, she mentioned, “Apoorva is a refreshingly unique character. She’s idealistic, determined, and somewhat out of her element. Bringing her to life was a true joy, especially in a setting deeply rooted in our rural culture.”

The Telugu Original Movie is a satirical comedy set in a fictional South Indian village facing escalating demands on its burial facilities. It features actors Suhas, Babu Mohan, Shatru, and Talluri Rameshwari.
According to the announcement, the film is set in the early 1990s in Chitti Jayapuram, a seemingly tranquil village with an unusual crisis: it is run out of space to bury the deceased.
