Mumbai, June 15 (NationPress) Actors Sharad Kelkar and Niharika Chouksey are currently engaged in filming their show, "Tumm Se Tumm Tak" in Delhi.
During their time in the National Capital, the co-stars took the opportunity to explore the vibrant Chandni Chowk ki Galliyan. Embracing the essence of Old Delhi, they savored sodas, jalebis, aloo puri, and crispy parathas in the renowned Paranthe Wali Gali, and enjoyed kulhad chai breaks near Qutub Minar.
Kelkar expressed that filming in Delhi was a memorable experience he will cherish forever.
"Every location, from the hustle of Chandni Chowk to the serene beauty of Qutub Minar, infused our scenes with distinct energy. I recall shooting near India Gate; during an emotional scene, I found myself completely immersed in my character, Aryavardhan, blurring the lines between actor and role, which is a rare occurrence," he shared.
"What made it even more special was soaking in the local atmosphere, indulging in ice cream, sipping kulhad chai between takes, relishing sugarcane juice, and satisfying our jalebi cravings. Shooting in peak summer meant that chilled lassi and quick sodas became essential! I owe it all to my co-star, Niharika — she curated a list of must-try spots while in Delhi. Consequently, our entire cast explored these culinary gems together, which fostered camaraderie and made the experience feel more intimate and unforgettable," he added.
Chouksey also shared her thoughts, stating that filming for "Tumm Se Tumm Tak" in Delhi felt like being enveloped by a city rich in stories at every turn.
"As a passionate foodie, I began crafting a food bucket list the moment I learned we’d be shooting in places like Chandni Chowk. From parathas at Paranthe Wali Gali to quick sugarcane juice breaks between scenes, spicy chaat, and wrapping up with ice cream—every moment made our shoot here feel deeply personal and joyful. Portraying Anu, a character experiencing life and love anew, being in Delhi added an extra layer of authenticity and warmth to the portrayal," she concluded.
