Chennai, Aug 18 (NationPress) The team behind director Sherief's highly anticipated film 'Gandhi Kannadi', which marks the debut of renowned comedian KPY Bala as a leading man, has just unveiled the second single, a heartfelt romantic track named 'Thimurukaari', to the excitement of fans and movie enthusiasts.

Thimurukaari tells the stories of two couples—one older and one younger—masterfully performed by music director Sean Roldan. The song is beautifully composed by the talented duo Vivek and Mervin, with lyrics written by the film’s director, Sherief.

It’s noteworthy that the film is set to premiere on September 5 this year.

Produced by Jayi Kiran of Adhimulam Creations, this venture showcases director Sherief's previous acclaim for creating gripping narratives like 'Ranam Aram Thavarel'.

KPY Bala, known for his comedic timing, will portray a character filled with emotional depth in his inaugural lead role.

Sources indicate that the film, inspired by a true story, aims to deliver a feel-good emotional experience. Sherief, apart from directing, has also shaped the story and screenplay. The filming has been successfully completed.
