Mumbai, Dec 4 (NationPress) Actress Mahhi Vij, who has recently separated from actor and TV host Jay Bhanushali, revealed that she has been fervently praying for the opportunity to participate in the show Seher Hone Ko Hai. She expressed her desire to re-enter the workforce, engage with new individuals, and showcase her authentic talent.

On Instagram, Mahhi shared some snapshots from the show and stated: “I prayed for this show. I prayed for the chance to step out again — to work, to meet new people, to display my artistry, my skills, and my genuine potential.”

The actress, married to Jay Bhanushali since 2011, emphasized her unwavering belief in karma.

“I’ve always held the belief in karma, in performing good deeds, in uplifting others so that life reciprocates kindness. I stand for goodness, humanity, and for creating a legacy my children can be proud of. Someday, I hope my kids will reflect and say, ‘I’m proud of you, Mama,’” she remarked.

Mahhi, who shares a daughter with Jay, expressed her desire for audiences to resonate with her performance in the upcoming show.

“As I embark on this journey, my sole aim is for viewers to feel my performance and exclaim, ‘What an actress, what a moment.’ This is my motivation. I treasure every opportunity, each second, every blessing. My heart overflows with gratitude — I will strive harder than ever. Blessings are all we need.”

Regarding Seher Hone Ko Hai, the storyline is set in the heart of Lucknow and centers on Kausar, a mother determined to provide her sixteen-year-old daughter, Seher, with the education and opportunities she herself was denied, battling the challenges posed by a patriarchal society, including her husband. The show also features actor Parth Samthaan.

Mahhi is recognized for her roles as Nakusha in Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Nandini in Balika Vadhu. She and Jay Bhanushali triumphed in the dance reality competition Nach Baliye 5 in 2013. Additionally, she was a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.

Her appearances extend to various music videos, including Tu, Tu Hai Wahi by DJ Aqeel. In 2006, she played the supporting female lead in the TV series Akela. Her debut film was in Malayalam, alongside the star Mammootty, titled Aparichithan.
