Mahima Chaudhary to Collaborate Again with Suniel Shetty in Karan Johar's Upcoming Film

Mumbai, December 7(NationPress) Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhary is gearing up to collaborate anew with her co-star from the 90s, Suniel Shetty, in a project helmed by a female director. In an exclusive chat with IANS, Mahima revealed details about her upcoming endeavors, stating, "I've completed a film for Karan Johar's production label, Dharmatic, which is set to premiere on Netflix. The film is named 'Naadaniyan'."
Mahima shared insights about her co-stars, mentioning, "My 'Suniel Shetty' is featured in the film alongside me." She continued, "Khushi Kapoor, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Dia Mirza are also included in the cast. It's an exceptional team."
The film is under the direction of a female filmmaker, Shona. Additionally, Mahima discussed another project that stars Sanjay Mishra alongside her in leading roles. Elaborating on this film, Mahima noted, "It's a lighthearted movie titled 'Durlabh Prasad ki Doosri Shaadi.' Sanjay ji portrays Durlabh Prasad, and I play his second wife."
Mahima Chaudhary made her Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Pardes'. Directed and produced by Subhash Ghai, the film propelled Mahima into the upper echelon of actresses. Besides the film's success, the music from 'Pardes' was a significant hit. Following 'Pardes', Mahima starred in various films such as 'Dil Kya Kare', 'Daag', and 'Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin'. However, none of these films matched the success of 'Pardes'.
Mahima also made notable contributions in supporting roles in major hits like 'Dhadkan', 'Baghban', and 'LOC Kargil'.
In 1999, Mahima Chaudhary suffered a severe car accident that caused significant facial injuries, with multiple glass shards embedded in her skin.
In 2022, Mahima was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent treatment for it. She disclosed that her parents learned about her condition through a video shared by Anupam Kher on his social media account.
