Chennai, Mar 7 (NationPress) On the eve of International Women’s Day, renowned Tamil film actress Manisha Yadav, famous for her roles in critically acclaimed blockbusters like Vazhakku En 18/9 and Aadhalal Kaadhal Seiveer, has revealed how she utilized her creative talents to develop a new and refreshing concept for shared office spaces!
In her announcement on Instagram, Manisha expressed, “I’m thrilled to present to you what I’ve been dedicating myself to over the past year and a half — a project that has consumed my energy and creativity to create a revitalizing concept for a shared office space.”
She shared that her husband, a builder specializing in commercial properties and involved in leasing spaces to both IT and non-IT firms, gave her insight into corporate culture.
“Upon meeting my tenants, I noticed their work environments were incredibly uninspiring, dull, and typically ‘office-like.’ It’s no surprise they felt stressed in spaces with bland walls and air conditioning set to a chilling 16 degrees. Such conditions render it a rather COLD atmosphere (pun intended),” she remarked.
This realization inspired Manisha to create a themed co-working environment. She discussed her vision with her husband, who also supported the idea.
“The first thought that struck me about transforming these uninspiring office spaces into an inviting atmosphere was the inclusion of plants!! However, the challenge was to create an indoor garden without direct sunlight and proper airflow. Those familiar with me know that once I set my mind on something, I am determined to make it work. I ensured this concept was feasible, and I succeeded! This required significant maintenance and the introduction of indoor grow lights. Thus, we proudly present a genuinely green office space, a first of its kind in India!!” she exclaimed, introducing her co-working space, The Yard.
