Mumbai, April 4 (NationPress) Renowned actor and director Manoj Kumar passed away on Friday at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was 87 years old.

Medical reports indicate that his demise was due to cardiogenic shock stemming from an acute myocardial infarction, a serious heart attack. Additionally, he had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis in the months leading up to his passing, which had significantly impacted his health.

The esteemed actor was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025, when his condition worsened.

Dr. Santosh Shetty, CEO and Executive Director at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, stated, “The veteran actor Shri Manoj Kumarji passed away peacefully at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital early this morning at around 3:30 AM, due to age-related health complications. He had been under care for the past few weeks.”
