Is Pawan Kalyan's Filmmaking Knowledge Truly Inspiring?

Chennai, July 24 (NationPress) Renowned cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa, who collaborated with director Jyothi Krisna on the epic film 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' (HHVM), recently took to social media to share his admiration for actor Pawan Kalyan's profound understanding of filmmaking.
In a heartfelt message posted on his Instagram account ahead of the film's release, Manoj Paramahamsa expressed his awe to Power Star Pawan Kalyan, who stars in the movie, stating, "I am truly amazed by your filmmaking insight. For this project, #HHMV, I had to unlearn everything I thought I knew about filmmaking. Every moment of our discussions—though they were brief—about cinema and the significance of pre-visualization was incredibly enriching."
The cinematographer elaborated, "You shared how, even in the early 2000s, you were among the first in Hyderabad to use Avid software, crafting visual cues for storytelling with Manga Comics cutouts. That really resonated with me."
He expressed a desire to have met Pawan Kalyan earlier in his career when he was fervently passionate about cinema, stating, "But today, I observe that same intensity—not in filmmaking, but in your steadfast commitment to the welfare of the community. After witnessing your journey over the past ten months, I can confidently say: the future of our children is secure. Thank you for this remarkable opportunity, sir."
To the fans of Power Star, he added, "Dear fans, prepare yourselves for the Rudra Thandavam. #HHMV is now yours!"
It is worth mentioning that director Jyothi Krisna had previously informed IANS that the film was shot over a span of 200 days.
"This narrative is set in the 16th century. Bobby Deol portrays Aurangazeb in the film, which unfolds during Mughal rule. It's based on a lesser-known incident from that era. The storyline blends fiction and reality, creating a unique cinematic experience. Pawan Kalyan embodies a Robinhood character—a thief in the narrative," Jyothi Krisna revealed.
The first installment of the film, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 Sword Vs Spirit', was initially planned for a June 12 release, but is now set to premiere on Thursday.
The film showcases cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnanashekar V.S., with production design by Thota Tharani. Editing is handled by the National Award-winning editor K L Praveen.
In addition to Pawan Kalyan, the cast includes Nidhi Aggarwal, Bobby Deol, Nassar, Sathyaraj, Thalaivasal Vijay, Raghu Babu, Subbaraju, and Sunil, among others.
