Mumbai, Feb 12 (NationPress) Actress and former beauty queen Manushi Chhillar expressed that the wedding of Jeet Adani, the son of Indian billionaire Gautam Adani, embodies a profound respect for humanity.

On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to share a video discussing the wedding, which was characterized by simplicity, while also highlighting that Rs. 10,000 crore was contributed by the billionaire for "seva".

“I came across a touching article about the wedding of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah, and what resonated with me was how it not only marks the couple's union but also showcases their deep respect for humanity,” she stated.

“They opted for a modest wedding but simultaneously, Gautam Adani pledged 10,000 crores aimed at enhancing healthcare, education, and skill development. Sending my warmest wishes and a big hug to Jeet and Diva. May your life be filled with love and joy,” she added.

Jeet Adani, the younger son of industrialist and Adani Group Chairperson Gautam Adani, tied the knot with Diva Jaimin Shah on February 7. The pre-wedding festivities began on February 5.

The ceremony adhered to traditional Jain and Gujarati customs, reflecting the cultural heritage of both families.

The wedding, noted for being a private and traditional affair, was held at Shantigram, the Adani township in the city. The couple's engagement took place on March 14, 2023, during a low-key ceremony with close family and friends.

Regarding Manushi, last month she offered her followers a rare look at her hidden treasures. She posted stunning travel photos that had previously not been shared on Instagram.

The actress from 'Operation Valentine' shared a collection of her travel images and wrote in the caption, “Some travel that didn’t make it to the gram! I’ve always been a beach person! Which one are you?”

On the professional front, Manushi will soon appear in the upcoming thriller “Tehran,” directed by debutant Arun Gopalan. The film features John Abraham and is said to be inspired by true events surrounding the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Manushi was crowned Miss World 2017. She represented her state of Haryana at the Femina Miss India 2017 pageant, winning the title of Femina Miss India World 2017 and subsequently becoming the sixth contestant from India to be honored with the Miss World title after 17 years.

She made her acting debut as Sanyogita in the historical drama Samrat Prithviraj in 2022 and later appeared in The Great Indian Family and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.
