Among the delightful moments was a heartwarming video featuring her mother, Neena Gupta, the celebrated actress, tenderly teaching her granddaughter, Matara, how to chant Om. Masaba took to Instagram to share a series of endearing posts, including this precious video of Neena spending quality time with little Matara. In the clip, the iconic actress is seen seated on the bed with her granddaughter, gently guiding her in chanting Om. The ‘Badhaai Ho’ actress beams with warmth as she lovingly encourages the young one to chant.

The following slide showcased an array of cakes, featuring a delicious strawberry cake that added a sweet note to Masaba’s cozy birthday gathering.

On November 2, Masaba Gupta celebrated her birthday, receiving an outpouring of love and warm wishes from friends within the film and fashion realms. Celebrities such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, and Ananya Panday took to social media to convey their heartfelt greetings to the designer-turned-actress.

Wishing her well, Bebo shared a stylish image and wrote, “Happy birthday firecracker...stay fierce, stay warm, and stay lovely... just the way you are... (red heart) Big Hug @masabagupta (sic).”

Masaba Gupta is the daughter of veteran actress Neena Gupta and West Indies cricket legend Vivian Richards. Although the two did not marry, Neena made the brave choice to raise Masaba as a single mother during the 1980s, standing firm against societal judgments.

Following her mother’s creative path, Masaba entered the acting world with the semi-autobiographical series “Masaba Masaba”, where she starred alongside Neena.

On a personal note, the designer wed actor Satyadeep Mishra in 2023, and the couple welcomed their daughter, Matara, in October 2024. On October 11, Masaba celebrated her daughter’s first birthday and shared moments from the celebration on social media.

In her heartfelt caption, Masaba Gupta expressed, “My Matara is one year old today. Took my fav girl to feed my favourite animal this morning followed by a small Darshan at the Hanuman temple. I pray for strength in every situation and hope my daughter always finds a way to do that too.”
