Mumbai, May 18 (NationPress) Renowned actress Neena Gupta has stepped into the culinary world, crafting a delightful dish using leftover rice. She shared a video on her Instagram, showcasing her kitchen adventures while preparing some tasty tikkis.
Neena combined the leftover rice with sooji, along with freshly chopped carrots, ginger, onions, and some curd, thoroughly mashing the mixture. She then incorporated finely chopped green chilies and coriander, allowing the batter to rest for approximately 20 minutes.
Once the batter was ready, she formed small balls and fried them into crispy tikkis. Neena mentioned that this was her first attempt at the recipe, inspired by a dish she had enjoyed elsewhere.
