Mumbai, May 24 (NationPress) In a delightful twist to the cooking craze among celebrities on social media, veteran actress Neena Gupta has been serving up some delightful local dishes for her fans. Recently, she unveiled her recipe for homemade Aloo Paneer on Instagram, notably sans garlic and onion.

She commenced by heating some ghee in a pan, followed by the addition of cumin seeds (Jeera). Once the seeds sizzled, she incorporated tomato and ginger paste, allowing it to brown slightly. When this base was ready, she stirred in red chili powder and diced boiled potatoes.

Afterwards, she mixed in fresh homemade cottage cheese (Paneer), seasoning it with salt and adding a splash of water. The dish was finished with a sprinkle of garam masala as it cooked.

Just last week, Neena showcased her culinary talents by preparing crispy tikki using leftover rice.

She combined leftover rice with sooji, chopped carrots, ginger, onions, and some curd, mashing it together. Following this, she mixed in finely chopped green chilies and coriander and let the mixture rest for about 20 minutes.

Once ready, she shaped the batter into small balls and fried them until golden brown. Neena mentioned that this was her first attempt at this recipe.

On the professional front, Neena is gearing up to reprise her role as Pradhan Manju Devi Dubey in the eagerly awaited fourth season of the popular web series, Panchayat.

Announced during the WAVES Summit 2025, Panchayat 4, featuring Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav, is set to premiere on July 2.

Deepak Kumar Mishra, the director of Panchayat, stated, “This series has beautifully depicted the essence of rural India—its warmth, challenges, and resilience. As we embark on Season 4, we will continue this authentic journey, filled with charm.”
