Los Angeles, Nov 7 (NationPress) Hollywood icon Robert Downey Jr. recently offered fans a glimpse into his intimate family life by posting a unique photo on Instagram featuring his wife Susan and their daughter Avri, who is now 11 years old.

The Marvel star, aged 60, shared these memorable images to celebrate the birthdays of both his wife and daughter, according to reports from People magazine.

Their birthdays fall just two days apart. In a heartfelt caption, the actor, who married Susan in 2005, expressed his admiration for them, stating, "Scorpio girls rock. HBD A&S".

Besides his daughter Avri, the Avengers: Doomsday star is also a father to two sons. His fatherhood journey began in 1993 when he welcomed his first son Indio, now 32, with his former spouse Deborah Falconer. Later, he had his second son Exton, who is 13, with his wife Susan.

In a 2014 interview with Extra, Downey Jr. reflected on his experience as a parent, acknowledging the joys of fatherhood at an older age.

"Being a dad is wonderful, regardless of life’s circumstances," he noted. "But now, I can fully engage because my priorities are either work or being with my kids. I'm no longer in my twenties, trying to party or socialize with friends."

The Golden Globe winner rarely shares images of his children, but in 2022, he posted a humorous video featuring Exton and Avri assisting him in preparing for his role in 'The Sympathizer' by shaving his head. "The things we do for our work, and our kids. #Sympathizer set ready," he captioned the post.

In 2023, his children took a step into the spotlight by appearing in his show 'Downey’s Dream Cars', which he described as a “blast.” All three kids participated, and Indio even contributed by writing an episode.
