Los Angeles, Feb 19 (NationPress) Actor Robert Pattinson, approaching the one-year mark of his journey into fatherhood, is thoroughly enjoying his role as a dad. He recently shared some parenting insights since he and Suki Waterhouse welcomed their baby girl in March 2024.
He mentioned, “I hate bragging about it, but my daughter’s been an absolutely fantastic sleeper since she was born,” as reported by People magazine.
With his daughter's birthday on the horizon, the star revealed to Extra during the red carpet event for the Mickey 17 world premiere in London that he and Waterhouse haven't begun planning her celebration yet.
"I hadn’t considered that. That’s just one more thing I need to tackle," he said. However, the actor did share his expertise in diaper duties. "I’m a pro at the stealth nappy change when the baby doesn’t even realize their nappy has been changed,” he added.
According to People, Pattinson also expressed his willingness to star in a children’s film someday, stating, “I’m always kind of open to anything.”
The bond between Robert Pattinson and their daughter is something that Waterhouse, 33, shared with Today, noting it as one of her favorite aspects of him. "We have a routine of placing her in the swimming pool and jumping in and out. That’s always the most enjoyable part. At the end of the day, around 5 p.m., we all jump in the pool and have fun. It’s incredible,” she said in a December interview.
‘People’ confirmed that Pattinson and Waterhouse became engaged in December 2023, shortly after Waterhouse revealed her pregnancy while performing at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico.
In his upcoming film, set to release on March 7, the actor portrays Mickey Barnes, who, according to the synopsis, “finds himself in the unique position of working for an employer who expects the ultimate commitment to the job – to die, for a living.”
Reflecting on ‘Mickey 17’, Pattinson described the filming experience as “one of the nicest, easiest shoots I’ve ever had.”
“I think it was quite complicated for everyone else (but) it was simple for me,” he concluded.
