Los Angeles, Oct 4 (NationPress) Hollywood icon Robert Pattinson, who welcomed his daughter with fiancée Suki Waterhouse in March 2024, expresses his surprise at having gained a new level of patience and a genuine enjoyment in spending time with babies.

Pattinson shared with ICON magazine, "I have significantly more patience. It’s amusing; it’s not merely patience; I genuinely love being around babies. That caught me off guard."

The Twilight star further elaborated on the joy of engaging in playful discussions about topics like schools and daycare facilities.

He commented, "It’s odd. There’s this magnetic force... I find myself needing to wear Patagonia puffer jackets and cargo shorts now. It's just part of the deal."

Pattinson noted earlier this year that becoming a father has infused him with a new energy, according to femalefirst.co.uk.

During a press conference alongside Jennifer Lawrence for their film Die, My Love at the Cannes Film Festival, he remarked, "In the most unexpected ways, having a child provides a vast reservoir of energy and inspiration. It’s a different kind of vitality."

He continued, "Since her birth, it has revitalized my approach to work, and you truly become a different person overnight."

Pattinson expressed interest in pursuing another family-oriented project in the future.

When asked about the possibility of starring in a children's film, he replied, "I would love to. I’m always open to new opportunities. What captures my interest is often surprising. We’ll see what comes my way."

The actor explained earlier this year that he has developed a fascination with his daughter's scent, able to distinguish her by smell alone.

"I remember people would say, 'Oh, don’t you love the smell of babies?' and I thought it was just the baby powder. But once I had my own baby, I realized, 'My baby has an amazing scent.' There’s something unique there; she doesn’t smell like other babies," he told Vogue.
