Los Angeles, Jan 21 (NationPress) Actor Robert Pattinson appears to be fully embracing the delights of fatherhood. He cherishes every aspect of his daughter, particularly her captivating scent.
The 38-year-old actor offered a glimpse into his parenting journey, emphasizing one of the traits he finds most endearing about his daughter, who was born in March 2024 to him and his fiancée Suki Waterhouse, as reported by People magazine.
He revealed to Vogue, "I remember people used to say, 'Oh, don't you love the smell of babies?' but I thought they were just referring to baby powder. Then I had my own baby, and I realized, 'my baby smells incredible'.”
According to People, Pattinson adores his daughter’s scent because "there's something special that helps me identify her.”
"She doesn’t smell like other babies," he noted. Marty Ellington Junior MD, MPH, Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, stated to Parents last August that the baby smell fosters a bond between infants and their parents. In an interview with British Vogue, Waterhouse expressed that she and Pattinson were always prepared for parenthood.
"No, we planned it. One day we looked at one another and said, 'Well, this is as ready as we’ll ever be,'" Waterhouse explained. "I thought, 'What could add more chaos?'”
