Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, April 20 (NationPress) Actor Rajkummar Rao, who recently entered the realm of fatherhood, spoke about the notion that his baby girl has infused his life with luck.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, Rajkummar expressed that while the timing of certain milestones in his career has indeed felt significant, he does not exclusively link them to the birth of his daughter.
“She’s undoubtedly filled our lives with love. However, there’s no pressure. It’s a combination of our luck, destiny, and hard work,” he clarified.
The actor further emphasized that his daughter will carve her own path in life.
“She’s just a baby, our little girl. She has her own journey ahead, so we don’t want to impose the burden of luck on her,” he mentioned, highlighting his desire to avoid placing expectations on her.
Rajkummar reminisced about a memorable moment that coincided with the arrival of his first daughter.
He shared that the day their daughter was born, his wife, actress Patralekhaa, was awarded Best Actress for her role in the film Phule.
“The day our baby girl arrived, Patralekhaa won the Best Actress award for Phule,” he said, noting that he too received numerous accolades following her birth.
For those unfamiliar, Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa welcomed their baby girl on November 15, 2025.
On the professional front, the couple has been garnering positive reviews for their film Toaster. Rajkummar stars alongside Sanya Malhotra, while Patralekhaa makes her debut as a producer for this project.
Toaster marks Patralekhaa's initiation into producing, with direction by Viveck Daschaudhary.
The cast also includes Archana Puran Singh.
