Mumbai, Nov 6 (NationPress) Television icon Rupali Ganguly recently brought joy to her senior fan by fulfilling her dream of conversing with the beloved Anupamaa. The fan in question was the grandmother of actress Vrushika Mehta. Overjoyed to see her grandmother’s happiness, Vrushika shared a heartfelt note on social media expressing her gratitude to Rupali.

She wrote, “My Pookie Dadi! We surprised her—she thought we were going to film a video, so she dressed up in her finest saree and got ready... then came the big surprise!” Vrushika continued, “We arranged for her to speak with Anupamaa, and although we expected her to be shy, dadi shared everything on her mind!”

Expressing her thanks, Mehta stated, “Thank you so much, @rupaliganguly ma’am, for dedicating your time to her and making her dream a reality—this wouldn’t have been possible without you.” In the video, Mehta's grandmother was seen having a warm conversation with her favorite actress. Vrushika asked her grandmother who she preferred between Anupamaa and Tulsi from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, to which her grandmother promptly declared her love for Anupamaa.

Throughout the video, Rupali greeted her with warmth and respect. Besides being a talented actress, Rupali is also known as a passionate animal lover. During the Navratri festival, she shared a touching post showcasing her love for animals. The actress posted a photo with her pet dogs, Coffee and King Kong, taken on the sets of Anupamaa, which also serves as their home.

In her post, Rupali expressed, “Chaturthi Praying to Maa #Kushmanda to fill every heart with kindness, compassion, and love for each other and for the voiceless souls. My Coffee & King Kong pose here because they may not speak, but they understand… and they feel everything.”

Rupali has consistently utilized her social media presence to advocate for adopting stray animals, caring for pets, and respecting all living creatures, particularly animals.
