Mumbai, Jan 1 (NationPress) The former badminton star Mathias Boe ushered in 2025 by unveiling a treasured image with his partner, actress Taapsee Pannu, captured during their marriage registration, symbolizing a pivotal moment as he said goodbye to 2024.
On his Instagram account, Mathias shared a black-and-white photograph of himself alongside Taapsee while they were signing their marriage documents. Accompanying the photo, Mathias penned an emotional message, reminiscing about how 2024 marked the transition of his girlfriend into his ‘wife.’
The ex-badminton athlete expressed, “As 2024 comes to a close, I reflect on a truly remarkable year for me, one filled with significant events. A girlfriend became my wife, and our family expanded. I wish everyone a joyful New Year, surrounded by the love of family and friends.”
Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe exchanged vows on March 23, 2024, in Udaipur, during a cozy traditional ceremony. Their celebration was graced by close friends and family, alongside a few notable personalities like Anurag Kashyap, Pavail Gulati, and Kanika Dhillon.
Interestingly, the star of ‘Pink’ kept her wedding under wraps and has yet to post an official wedding image on her social media. Taapsee and Mathias are said to have first crossed paths at the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013, where Mathias represented the Lucknow-based team Awadhe Warriors, while Taapsee was the brand ambassador for the champions, Hyderabad Hotshots.
During a recent event, the actress from ‘Haseen Dillruba’ revealed details about her wedding with Boe, sharing that they had a court marriage in December 2023. She noted that their wedding went unnoticed by many because they did not make a public announcement.
On the professional front, Taapsee is set to appear in the forthcoming action thriller “Gandhari.” Directed by Devashish Makhija, the film will delve into the deep connection between a mother and her child.
