Taapsee Pannu Marks Lohri Celebration on the Sets of ‘Gandhari’

Mumbai, Jan 13 (NationPress) Actress Taapsee Pannu, widely recognized for her performances in ‘Pink’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Haseen Dillruba’, among others, is currently celebrating Lohri while filming her anticipated movie ‘Gandhari’.
A reliable insider disclosed, “Taapsee Pannu kicked off the year with enthusiasm, busy shooting for her next project Gandhari. This year, she is joyfully observing the festival on the film set.”
The source added, “Lohri is a festival she holds dear and typically celebrates with her family, but this year, due to her shooting schedule, she will partake in the festivities on the movie set.”
The actress is relishing a delightful period in both her professional and personal spheres. Last year, she wed her long-time partner, badminton player Mathias Boe, in a beautiful ceremony in Udaipur. Clips from their wedding became a sensation online. In one popular video, Taapsee, adorned in a vibrant red Punjabi wedding outfit, danced towards Mathias to the tune of the Punjabi folk song ‘Chitta Kukkar’.
In the video, Taapsee showcased her dance moves wearing stylish sunglasses with her wedding attire and embraced her husband on stage. Her sister Shagun Pannu and their group of friends accompanied the bride.
As the couple shared a heartfelt embrace, attendees showered them with flower petals. The wedding celebrations were intimate, with a select few from the industry in attendance.
Actor Pavail Gulati, who collaborated with Taapsee in 'Thappad' and 'Dobaara', was present at the wedding festivities, along with renowned filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is also a close friend of Taapsee. Screenwriting duo Kanika Dhillon and Himanshu Sharma also graced the occasion.
Mathias, originally from Denmark, is a badminton player turned coach. He made his international debut in 1998 and achieved the top rank in doubles. Currently, he coaches the Indian doubles team. He secured a silver medal in men's doubles at the 2012 Olympics in London and another silver at the 2013 World Championship.
