Singer Mika Singh has voiced support for Salman Khan's public stand against age-shaming and body-shaming, saying both the media and artists must exercise restraint. Mika's remarks came in response to Salman's impassioned address on the sets of Bigg Boss 20 in Mumbai, where the superstar called out paparazzi for photographing actresses from inappropriate angles.

Speaking to reporters, Mika said, 'Well, I always support Salman bhai. He has spoken quite openly about this, and I would also request the media to put a stop to such things.' He was careful, however, to note that the responsibility is not one-sided. 'There are also artists who actually want people to make videos or take photos of them. So, it takes two to tango; both sides need to exercise some control over this,' he added.

Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 20 Outburst

During a Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan addressed the practice of trolling people over their age, weight, appearance, family background, professional failures, or experience of motherhood. Visibly agitated, he removed his coat and threw his cap on the floor while making his point. 'Suddenly, everyone starts talking about age, saying someone has gotten old. What do you want to troll someone for? Their weight, their looks, their family, their smile, a career flop or becoming a mother? You are merely revealing your own upbringing,' he said.

He also acknowledged his own milestone: 'Yes, I have turned 60, man. Why do you troll a woman who is pregnant? Everyone gains weight during pregnancy... she gained weight because she was pregnant; she will get fit again when she returns to films. She simply wanted to spend time with her family. Don't troll,' he added.

The Katrina Kaif Trolling Controversy

Although Salman did not name anyone, his remarks were widely interpreted as a response to the online trolling directed at actress Katrina Kaif following visible changes in her weight after motherhood. Katrina had recently attended Ganpati celebrations with her husband Vicky Kaif, after which social media users began trolling her over her post-pregnancy appearance. The actress had not publicly responded to the criticism. Several celebrities, however, rallied to her defence before Salman's address brought the issue into mainstream focus.
