Los Angeles, May 21 (NationPress) Actress Natalie Portman disclosed that she took a hair souvenir from 'Star Wars' after filming wrapped two decades ago.
The 43-year-old star, known for her role as Padme Amidala in the prequel trilogy from 1999 to 2005, mentioned that she kept a strand of hair from co-star Hayden Christensen when they concluded shooting 'Episode III - Revenge of the Sith'. However, she has since lost track of it.
In an interview with the UK program 'This Morning' on ITV, Portman stated: "I took one of the Anakin braids at the end of shooting… They were all clip-ons, and there were plenty of them since they had to be applied daily.
"So, I took one of them - but I don’t have it anymore. I misplaced it... I probably shouldn’t have shared that!"
Portman also expressed her willingness to return to the 'Star Wars' universe, which continues to expand on Disney+ and in theaters, even though there haven’t been any discussions yet, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
She commented: "Absolutely! No one's approached me, so I don't want to stir any rumors! I'm open to everything, yes!"
As a mother to Aleph, 13, and Amalia, 8, from her marriage to Benjamin Millepied, she revealed that her children are the primary inspiration for her current career choices.
She noted: "Oh, one hundred percent! They are a main, main driver of my decisions."
Portman’s latest project is “Fountain of Youth”, a heist action-adventure film directed by Guy Ritchie. The film features John Krasinski, Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, Arian Moayed, Laz Alonso, Carmen Ejogo, and Stanley Tucci.
The storyline follows two estranged siblings who unite on a quest to discover the legendary Fountain of Youth.
